Robert Whitaker from Cumberworth near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire has been voted BSJA Show Jumper of the Month for April 2009. Robert riding his mother Clare’s 14 year old bay gelding Lacroix 9 made British Open history when he won the British Open Championship for the third time in it’s history. This achievement the panel felt warranted the April Show Jumper of the Month award making it the third time, in it’s existence, that Robert has received this valued accolade.
